Sandra Manzella teaches English language. Her frequent travels to the Near East are part of ongoing historical and sociological exploration. In her hometown of Mantua, she is an active member of Agorà delle Religioni, an association devoted to the promotion of inter-faith dialogue, a goal she pursues through articles, educational activities and interviews. She has published four nonfiction books in Italian about her experiences in Jerusalem and the leper colony of Cairo, and a collection of short stories. Her short fiction has featured in several Italian anthologies, and her writing appears on “SettimanaNews”, an Italian language magazine focused on current affairs and religious information.
